Megan & Jason are one of the sweet­est cou­ples I have ever pho­tographed. After our first meet­ing, I was so excited to doc­u­ment & be a part of their spe­cial day. These two love­birds live in Ohio & had a small, beau­ti­ful wed­ding in Santa Bar­bara, Cal­i­for­nia. They had the cer­e­mony right on the beach & the recep­tion at the beau­ti­ful Fess Parker’s Dou­ble­tree Resort. The day was filled fam­ily & close friends, with laugh­ter & such won­der­ful dis­plays of love & ado­ra­tion. I felt very hon­ored to be at this wed­ding & meet these won­der­ful peo­ple. Hope you enjoy some of my favorites from this day.

I had the oppor­tu­nity to go to WPPI (Wed­ding & Por­trait Pho­tog­ra­phers Inter­na­tional) this year in Las Vegas with a cou­ple of my pho­tog­ra­phy friends from San Luis. It is a great week of photo classes, net­work­ing & oppor­tu­ni­ties to meet other pho­tog­ra­phers from all over the world. It was a blast & such a bless­ing to get to know so many rad people!

The pho­tog­ra­phy com­mu­nity is amaz­ing here on the Cen­tral Coast & it was awe­some get­ting to know even more pho­tog­ra­phers from the area while there!

I feel so lucky to be in an indus­try that is filled with such amaz­ing & kind-hearted people.

Meet Alana & Reece, the adorable two-week old twins I had the joy of pho­tograph­ing this week.

New­born ses­sions are some of my favorite types of ses­sions to do. What’s not to like.… tiny lit­tle peo­ple, hands, feet, cute lit­tle coo­ing sounds & the ador­ing looks their par­ents give them. I just love it all. I guess my back doesn’t appre­ci­ate the 2 hours of hunch­ing over the pos­ing pil­low try­ing to get the babies to sleep, but it is all so worth it in the end! These two were just absolutely adorable! They were a lit­tle older than the usual age I try to do new­born ses­sions (before 12 days old), but they still did fan­tas­tic! Reece was a sleep­ing cham­pion, & kept mak­ing the sweet­est lit­tle faces. I won­der if those lit­tle cuties dream? If they do, Reece was hav­ing some fan­tas­tic dreams… or maybe just a lit­tle gas.Either way, it made for some fun photo opportunities!

Meet Majesta & Zach. Majesta & Zach are an awe­some wed­ding pho­tog­ra­phy duo based out of San Jose. Majesta & I go way back, we started together at Brooks & grad­u­ated together almost two years ago now! Good­ness Gra­cious, time flies! Majesta was going to be in my neck of the woods for a few days so she stopped by last Sun­day & we got to do  a shoot together. We pho­tographed each other in var­i­ous places around San Luis Obispo & Los Osos.

Majesta & Zach are get­ting hitched pretty soon! They are such an adorable pair, so sweet & so fun to shoot with!  Thank you Majesta for the won­der­ful pho­tos you got of Grant & I as well! I look for­ward to your next visit!!

I had the won­der­ful oppor­tu­nity to do a photo shoot swap with Majesta Camp­bell (we grad­u­ated from Brooks together) and Zach yes­ter­day. So fun! I shot Majesta and Zach and Majesta shot Grant and I. So nice to see friends from col­lege and get to do a lit­tle shoot.
